1) Gain knowledge about the development, licensing and safe use of pesticides.
2) Gains knowledge about different pesticide groups and their mode of acion.
3) Have knowledge about environmental pollution caused by pesticides.
4) Gains knowledge about pesticide resistance, management and sustainable use of pesticides.
5) Gain knowledge about the importance of biodiversity and the European Union Green Deal.
6) Gains knowledge about sustainable pest management strategies in agriculture.

COURSE DEFINITIONAt the end of this course, students will have knowledge about the development, registration, safe use of pesticides and sustainable environment.
COURSE CONTENTSHaving information about the development, licensing, safe use, effects on the operator, residue, drift and future applications of pesticides used in the control of diseases, pests and weeds in agricultural production. At the same time, they will be informed about the importance of biodiversity, the European Union Green Consensus, sustainable pest management in agriculture and the impact of agricultural practices on the environment.
