Specific Admission Requirements
a.Not being enrolled in another Higher Education program.
b.To be graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine or Faculty of Pharmacy for five years, or To be graduated from Faculty of Science Biology Department, Molecular Biology and Genetics Department, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Health Sciences (Nursing, Midwifery, Nutrition and Dietetics) Faculties, Food Engineering graduates and to complete the Master's Degree. General admission requirements stated under info on the Başkent University Institution of Health Science on this website are being applied to start this program
c.Candidates who have completed their undergraduate education abroad must have received equivalency certificate from YÖK
d.They must have at least 55 (fifty-five) standard scores from the ALES numerical score type. Instead of the ALES result, the results of the exams determined by the Higher Education Council can be accepted from the international exams such as GRE and GMAT accepted by the Higher Education Council.
e.In order to apply for PhD programs, applicants must have an not less than 55 (fifty-five) points in YDS or central foreign language exams YÖKDİL accepted by YÖK, or equivalent score in TOEFL or similar international foreign language exams accepted by OSYM.
f.Maximum of 2 (two) semesters can be taken as special students. If Special Students fulfill the requirements of full-time students (Foreign Language and ALES), the courses they are successful in are transferred to the transcript.
g.After the pre-registration application, the candidates will take the Basic Microbiology and interview exam. In order to be admitted to the doctoral program, he / she has to get at least 65 points in Basic Microbiology exam.
