General Information
Five professor, one assistant professor, three medical instructor and a technician are employed in the Department of Medical Microbiology as academic staff. The department is responsible from the Medical Microbiology education given to Class I,II,III,V of the Faculty of Medicine and Class I,II of the Faculty of Dentistry.
The PhD program aims to educate doctorate graduates who have reached a professional level in the field of Medical Microbiology in the light of contemporary and universal values, who can bring innovation to the health sector, develop themselves scientifically and contribute to science, and have knowledgeable, enlightened and committed to ethical rules. Medical Microbiology PhD Program will give the student starting academic life, the ability to conduct independent research, to make comments and evaluations by examining scientific events with a broad and deep perspective and to make necessary researches to reach new scientific data.
It is aimed to meet the need of academic staff who can conduct original scientific research, produce theoretical and practical solutions in the field of Medical Microbiology and / or carry out their profession with a professional approach and self-confidence in the field where they are employed. Original researches will be provided by offering the necessary opportunities for the candidates to move into the academic field. Thus, it is aimed to make scientific contributions to health institutions at national and international level.
