Profile of the Programme

The aim of this program is to train students as tourism staff for front office management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, hotel accounting, purchasing, housekeeping and travel agencies. It is aimed to educate students for middle level of management for the tourism industry. Not only do students gain theoretical experience, but practical experience as well. This programme intends to include all kinds of practical and theoretical aspects of the field of study and it aims to equip students, through theoretical and practical education, with the knowledge and skills required in lodging, catering and service, and traveling sectors to furnish students with the knowledge and skills about computer use and foreign language skills. In the program, an internship including 45 working days is compulsory to support and reinforce the knowledge learned with course books and materials. In addition, graduates of the program may apply to bachelor programmes in related fields by entering the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) or may apply Distance Education System.
