Key Learning Outcomes

  • To use means of reaching knowledge effectively, to be able to analyze and check the validity and relability of knowledge gained.
  • To gain the necesary knowledge and skills of programming, computer networks, hardware that are needed for computer education and instructional technologies.
  • To be able to use gained skills and knowledge that are needed for Computer Education and Instructional Technologies in areas such as education, basic science, hardware and software, instructional theories and principles together for applying in teaching learning process with information and communication technologies effectively.
  • To have skills and knowledge about problem solving, critical thinking, arraning one's own learning and creative thinking.
  • To have knowledge and skills about life-long learning, effective communication and group work.
  • To have knowledge about teaching profession and the skill to implement teaching.
  • To be able to follow the developments in the field of computer education and instructional Technologies and to be able to communicate with colleagues using a foreign language.
  • To be able to implement approach, objectives and techniques that belong to special area instructional program and values and principles that rest on the educational system.
  • To be able to implement theory, principles, methods and techniques that are directed to students' development, learning and education with realizing the individual differences between students.
  • To have skills and knowledge in the stages of planning, implementation, managing and evaluation of teaching and learning process.
  • To be able to use computer software with informatics and communication technologies effectively according to ethics and user rights.
  • To be able to implement and manage stages of daily project design.
  • To be able to design and develop lesson or material using various software and principles considering distance education or computer supported education theory and principles.
  • To comprehend central and rural management of Turkish Educational system and to perceive the educational and managerial problems and to act on creating solutions.
  • To be able to prevent de trop student behaviour, to apply effective methods and strategies for the students to gain positive behaviour and for them to gain autonomy.
  • To comprehend the importance of Turkish educational history in educational perspective.
  • To be able to integrate knowledge and skills of profession with inter-disciplinary working fields.
