COURSE DEFINITION
The course will provide fundamentals of technology planning for educational organizations. Instructional and
administrative issues in instructional technology planning. Characteristics of technology managers vs.
technology leaders. Hardware & Software & Peopleware planning and assessment strategies. Staff development
models for innovative organizations. Maintenance, upgrading & follow-up issues for IT and diffusion of
innovation models for long-term planning.
