At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will be able to understand basic concepts related to distance education, 2) Will be able to gain knowledge about the history of distance education in Turkey and in the world, together with some specific projects of several countries, 3) Will be able to know the techniques and methods to deliver a course via distance education technologies, 4) Will be able to gain knowledge about the features of learning and content management systems used for delivering content through internet-based technologies, 5) Will be able to use related software to prepare interactive content for e-delivery, 6) Will be able to create course materials by using distance education software.

Typology of distance education, teaching systems. Techniques and methods used in planning, development, and implementation of distance education systems.
