At the end of this course, the students; 1) Define the basic concepts related to the specified topics. 2) Can summarize the classical researches on these subjects and compares their theoretical foundations. 3) Can use the concepts they have learned to explain examples from daily life. 4) Can discuss related new theoretical approaches. 5) Gain perspective to follow new approaches in the future.

COURSE DEFINITION | In this course, the new theoretical and empirical developments in social psychology will be covered. The purpose of this course is to examine the current approaches, topics, methods and discussions in psychology. Students will discuss the new perspectives that are currently on agenda of social psychology and will consider them from a critical perspective. The new research articles and theoretical texts will be discussed in the course. |
