LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Can develop a research proposal. 2) Can make a literature review in line with the research proposal. 3) Can apply to ethics committee. 4) Gain experience in collecting research data. 5) Gain the ability to analyze the data they have obtained. 6) Can report the results of the analysis. 7) Gain the ability to complete a research and turn it into a scientific publication.

COURSE DEFINITION	In this course, the students will conduct a small independent research under the guidance of the course instructor. The purpose of the course is to give students the practical and theoretical skills regarding all steps of an experiment. The students will choose a study topic, conduct a literature search, design an experimental study, gather data and analyze the results. The course also aims to increase the academical writing skills of the graduate students.
