LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Emphasizes necessary nutritional counseling principles before, during and after pregnancy (breastfeeding, transition to complementary foods, etc.).
2) Will be able to list the importance of breast milk for baby and women's health.
3) Can follow the growth of infants and children.
4) Can provide necessary nutritional counseling during pre-school, school and adolescence periods.
5) Explains the characteristics of all formulas used in infant feeding and in which situations they should be used.
6) Explains the possible effects of congenital changes on adulthood.
