LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1)
Defines the science of anatomy and explains its importance.
2) It should be at a level to evaluate the morphological features of the structures in the circulatory - respiratory systems and digestive system and their positions in the body.
3) Explain the normal shape and structure of the human body.
4) Recognize the systems, organs and vessels in the human body.
5) By understanding the normal structure of all body structures, they can distinguish pathological conditions.

COURSE DEFINITIONTo familiarize the students with the morphology of musculosceletal system, innervations and blood supply of the limbs. Another aim of the course is to give the basic knowledge about the cardiovascular, respiratory, and gastrointestinal systems.

2nd Week Upper extremity bones, lower extremity bones
3rd Week Joints general information, Upper extremity joints, lower extremity joints
4th Week Muscles general information, Upper extremity muscles, lower extremity muscles
5th Week Head, neck, trunk bones
6th Week Head, neck, trunk muscles
7th Week MIDTERM
8th Week Respiratory system, thorax wall, diaphragm, mediastinum
9th Week Heart and circulatory system, great vessels
10th Week Digestive system, abdominal cavity topography, anterior-lateral abdominal walls, peritoneum
11th Week Urogenital system, pelvis-perineum muscles
12th Week Introduction to the nervous system, Central nervous system
13th Week peripheral nervous system
14th Week Endocrine system and sense organs
