LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) will expand their awareness about the codes of ethics and working conditions of conference interpreting. 2) will enhance their competence acquired through simultaneous interpreting. 3) will learn to be prepared for challenges which may be encountered in a conference setting and find solutions to them.

COURSE DEFINITION | This course aims to enhance students? interpreting skills with intense interpreting practices in a conference setting. Students are expected to develop strategies to control stress and to deal with various speakers and different dictions of non-native English speakers. |
