LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) will comprehend the challenges of literary translation and improve their solution seeking skills. 2) will learn to assess the translation process and a new literary piece of work. 3) will obtain information about the opinions and views regarding literary translation in the world and Turkey.

COURSE DEFINITION | This course familiarizes students with the genres of short fiction and novel. The students will translate of selected excerpts from the works of well known Turkish and authors from different countries and they will learn to approach these translations critically. |
