LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) will learn norms of press language and be able to explain different text types belonging to this field. 2) will develop necessary terms and structures to translate these text types. 3) will develop awareness to find solutions to translation problems in this the field.

COURSE DEFINITION | This course aims to analyse press language in English and Turkish, probe into differences of language use, conduct translation practices from English to Turkish and from Turkish to English by following printed media. It is aimed to provide students with experience and skills in the field of press texts translation with by modelling from electronic and printed media. |
