COURSE DEFINITION | In this course, students are introduced to basic concepts in translation and interpreting. History of translation and interpreting is another subject matter of the course. It emphasizes different types of translation and interpreting, and students are shown different text types, translation strategies and dictionary using. It aims to develop awareness about the relationship between culture and translation and interpreting. |
