At the end of this course, the students; 1) Define differences between travel and torism concepts 2) List the enterprises and their functions in travel industry. 3) Identifie the social and cultural effects of travel on destination countries. 4) Explain the foundation and organization structures of travel agencies 5) Explain tour operator and package tour concepts.

The goal of the course is to give students some general information about tourism industry, travel agencies and tour operators, package tour planning and marketing, risk management; also to prepare them for the professional life in the sector.
