At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will be able to gain information about Turkish geography. 2) Will be able to gain information about cultural, natural places and climate conditions in Turkey and prepare a tour programme. 3) Will be able to know about ancient cities and compare them with their recent situations. 4) Will be able to inform tourists about the region they work. 5) Will be able to see tourism as a big picture and know cultural, natural and historical places in Turkey at the same time.

COURSE DEFINITION
Introducing well known tourism routes, generally accepted today; museums, ruins, important geographical and historical centers; social and economic structural features of the main geographic sections; the general layout transportation, lodging and other hospitality facilities, searching new tourism routes; enlarging the tourism potential possibilities, covering some new activities such as religious and thermal tourism; designating the structural peculiarities in order to get maximum benefit of the geographical sections
