LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Obtain awareness of the students to environment problems decreasing by industrialization.
2) Describe the key points of the sustainable tourism by providing different samples
3) Examine Turkey's contemporary environment problems and make the students offer reasonable solutions to them.
4) Examine Turkey's alternative tourism opportunities.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course explains the natural environment (different landforms and ecosystems) that are subject to alternative tourism activities. It stresses close relation between tourism activities and environmental problems, discusses the state of the environmental tourism activities in Turkey and points out its sustainable applications.
