At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will be able to gain information about ancient civilizations. 2) Will be able to know cultural and political history of ancient civilizations. 3) Will be able to analyze the world civilizations whose features have come to our time. 4) Will be able to gain information about cultural, historical and religional properities of tourists who come to Turkey. 5) Will be able to analyze world civilizations by comparing them.

COURSE DEFINITION
Definition of civilization and culture; human history; Mesopotamia: Sumer, Assyria, Babylon; Mediterranean Civilizations: Egypt, Greek, Helen, Rome; Byzantine, Medieval and Renaissance Periods, Islamic World: Seljuk, Ottoman; Arabian Peninsula Civilizations, Far East Civilizations: China, Japan, India; Continental America Civilizations: Examining the development of civilizations established on the world such as Maya, Aztec and Inca and the effects of these civilizations on world culture.
