COURSE DEFINITIONWith this course, the definition, characteristics, sample applications, model appearance, sample applications, creative drama program planning, implementation, evaluation, introduction and preparation of creative drama program is aimed. In addition, games and improvisations and sample applications, subject-based drama and sample applications, finger games, pantomime, dependent-independent dramatization and sample applications, the basics of creative drama with mentally handicapped children will be introduced. The role of the educator is to teach how to prepare the educational environment in drama activities.

2nd Week Dramatic activities and concepts related to drama in preschool education
3rd Week Historical development of drama in preschool and its contribution to child's development
4th Week Imitation game and movement studies
5th Week Planning and implementation of imitation game and motion studies activities
6th Week Pantomime events
7th Week Planning and implementation of pantomime events
8th Week Midterm
9th Week Role playing and improvisation activities
10th Week Role playing and improvisation activities planning and implementation
11th Week Dramatization and story completion events
12th Week Planning and implementation of dramatization and story completion activities
13th Week Creating games from stories and creative dance events
14th Week Creating games from stories and planning and applying creative dance events
15th Week Final examination
