At the end of this course, the students; 1) Knows the general environmental problems 2) Compares international environmental protection effort and policy about environmental problems. 3) Evaluates the social, economics and environmental effects of tourism 4) Grasps sustainable tourism principles within the context of sustainable development, 5) Grasps ecotourism principles and to work in tourism business with these approaches.

COURSE DEFINITION
In this course, global environmental problems, how these problems are handled internationally, efforts and agreements are taught. Environmental issues in the tourism sector; With the social, economic and environmental impacts of tourism, its contribution in the sector in the context of sustainable development, environmental awareness and behavior is achieved.
