At the end of this course, the students; 1) The student will be able to identify basic concepts such as gender, social gender and gender identity. 2) The student will be able to understand the difference between gender and social gender. 3) The student will be able to identify the place and importance of social gender in socialization process 4) The student will be able to evaluate the current social gender understanding in our country under contemporary developments.

COURSE DEFINITION | In this course, definition of sexual education in early childhood, scope of importance; common problems, suggestions for teachers and families; basic concepts and gender theories in gender; Gender role development and factors affecting this development; Family and gender; Media and gender; Child literature and gender; Game-toys and gender; Preschool institutions, teachers and gender; Programs implemented to ensure gender equality in different countries; It is aimed to process suggestions and activities to ensure gender equality. |
