1) Explains the concepts related to children's literature.
2) Recognizes the types of children's literature.
3) Explains the contribution of children's literature to the development of the child.
4) Compares the format and content features of children's books.
5) Makes a book choice according to age and developmental characteristics.
6) Prepares books for children of different age groups.

COURSE DEFINITIONWithin the scope of this course, it is aimed to obtain information about the historical development of children's literature, definition and types of children's literature (picture story books, fairy tale, poetry, story, digital book, comic book, science book), recognition of the form and content features of children's literature.
