COURSE DEFINITIONWith this course it is aimed to provide information about basic concepts of special education, individuals with special education needs; language and speech impairment; physical disability / chronic illness; multiple insufficiency; emotion / behavior disorder; classification; prevalence and incidence; reasons; screening / diagnostic; team; educational environments; scientifically based applications; the concept of family and the characteristics of families with children with special educational needs; attitudes towards the child and their families in need of special education; services provided to families and legal rights.
