LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Knows the structure, functioning, change and social laws of society

2) Understands the rules and principles regarding the structure and functioning of social relations and interactions.
3) Associates the problems of the individual with the society and the problems of the society with the individuals.
4) Understands social problems; conscious of the economic and cultural development of society
contributes in a way.
5) Interprets the society by knowing the society in relation to the past, a conscious.

COURSE DEFINITIONWithin the scope of the course, it is aimed to learn about the definition of sociology, relationship between individual and society, society, social behavior and social relations, the relationship of sociology with other social sciences, culture, gender and media relations.
