COURSE DEFINITIONThe art market, auctions, value determination and investment in this field are among the prominent elements of our age. Especially the momentum gained in this field at the end of the 90's; is resulted in most banks and companies investing in the arts. Issues such as determining the price of the work, introducing the artist to certain groups and selling his work to the museum are examined with national and international examples in this course. Also art fairs and biennials organized around the world in the sale of artworks will be studied and the galleries that stand out in our country and their role in determining value are examined within the scope of the course.
