1) The importance of visual documentation in museology, getting familiar with archiving visual documentation and establishing methodology
2) Learning how to interpret artwork,and how to analyze and evaluate artwork.
3) Develop qualifications to see the details of artwork
4) Having an interdisciplinary approach to understand art sphere
5) Visiting contemporary art museums, and analyze fotographic images
6) The ability to work with an interdisciplinary approach

COURSE DEFINITIONIn the course inventory systems of museum materials (archeological, ethnographic, audiovisual materials and contemporary art works etc.) are described documentation system. Documentation methods and criteria are exemined.

3rd Week Museum, visual documentation in art gallery
4th Week Museum inventory system, how to visit museum
5th Week The documentation of artwork in contemporary museums, and archive
6th Week Inventory card system, and design
7th Week How to read inventory card, research to add info on inventory card
8th Week Museum visit
9th Week MIDTERM PROJECT
10th Week Visual Documentation research project
11th Week Public presentation of research topics
12th Week Written format of the research papers
