Qualification Requirements and Regulations

1. Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Master's Program with Thesis consists of a total of 21 credits and a minimum of 7 courses, seminar course and a thesis, 120 ECTS credits, not less than 30 ECTS credits per semester.

2. Students must get a grade of at least C in order to be successful in the courses.

3. Thesis and seminar course is non-credit and evaluated with Y or Z grades. The student enrolls for the Thesis-1 course at the beginning of the second or third semester, based on the opinion of his / her advisor.

4. The period for completing the master's program with thesis is four semesters for each semester, regardless of whether they are registered, starting from the semester in which the courses related to the program they are enrolled in, excluding the time spent in scientific preparation, and the program is completed in a maximum of six semesters. At the end of four semesters, students who fail to successfully complete their credit courses and seminar courses in the curriculum, or who fail in their thesis study or who do not participate in their thesis defense within the maximum period of time, are dismissed from the University.
