- To design individual based study using experimental methodology in the field of biotechnology,conduct research and analyze results using statistical tools.
- To follow current scientific knowledge (literature), interpret the information according to the level of evidence, and can make critics for scientific literature.
- To produce scientific hypothesis, can design experimental set-up to test the hypothesis, and can write scientific projects.
- To have a positive attitude toward interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary solutions of problem areas for community welfare, and accordingly work in a team of different professions.
- To discuss and comment on experimental results of a scientific research, and share these results with the people from different educational background.
- To be competent in English and Turkish to express the scientific knowledge they have acquired, and communicate with the collaborators.
- To use the library, scientific databases, internet, and other sources of information efficiently.
- To integrate theoretical knowledge of biotechnology to bioprocess design and production.
