Quantification and consideration
Evaluation criteria in the program in terms of main structure; theoretical courses, laboratory studies and applied studies. For each course, at least one midterm and final exam are given in a semester. Quiz, homework, project, field work, etc. can do teaching activities. Instructors midterm, final exam, quiz, project etc. It is free to evaluate the success according to the activities and change them. For each course, one of the following letters is given to the students as a passing grade. The letters and their coefficients are as follows: Grade Coefficient A 4.0 A- 3.7 B+ 3.3 B 3.0 B- 2.7 C+ 2.3 C 2.0 C- 1.7 D+ 1.3 D 1 ,0 F1 0,0 F2 0,0 Students whose applied work is incomplete in a course or whose success grade could not be appreciated within the grading period due to taking a make-up exam is given an E grade. A student who gets an E grade takes the make-up exam by completing the missing studies, if any, within ten days at the latest following the announcement of the grades. The decision to extend this period is made by the board of directors of the relevant unit. E grades that are not extended or replaced by another grade within fifteen days by the decision of the unit board of directors automatically turn into F1 grades. An S grade is given for internships or practice courses outside the academic semester calendar. This grade is converted into one of the success grades by the decision of the unit board of directors until the end of the add-drop date of the following academic semester at the latest.
