Specific Arrangements for the Recognition of Prior Learning
Out of the courses that a student has taken from any higher education institution without registering to the relevant department and has successfully passed with a grade of at least C, those deemed equivalent by the student advisor are transferred to the program in which the student is registered, upon the recommendation of the relevant department or program chair and the decision of the relevant unit's administrative board. In this case, the student is exempt from the course that the transferred course is considered equivalent. Course transfers related to courses taken from other educational institutions are included in transcripts with the original course name and course code. The ECTS equivalent of the course taken and the equivalent letter grade equivalent of the grade received at the University are determined by the decision of the relevant unit administrative board. |
