COURSE DEFINITIONOrganizational Behavior, a sub-domain of Management and Organization, an applied field of social science, emerges as one of the most important research fields that can be used in bringing solutions to differentiated problem areas of today's enterprises. This course focuses on behavioral dynamics at the level of individuals, groups and organizations in the organizational setting. In this context, issues such as perceptions and emotions of individuals, job satisfaction, motivation, forms of leadership, power and authority, conflict management, team work and dynamics, organizational culture will be emphasized.Organizational Behavior uses scientific methodology as a social discipline, has developed academically, and has remained relatively weak in practice. This weakness in practice; the problem of micro management and business blindness which cause a man who is a closed box not to be understood well by the managers, the administrators to disappear in detail, problems such as institutionalization, not being sustainable, employee dissatisfaction, not being able to work under stress and pressure. The field of Organizational Behavior helps to solve the problems administrators face in administrative decisions and practices by revealing scientific evidence for understanding human behavior.
