At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will be able to comprehend graphical design in computer, 2) Will be able to recognize the basic design elements, 3) Will be able to learn and apply the basic design application fields, 4) Will be able to design educational graphical design, 5) Will be able to make advanced designs by using a graphical design program, 6) Will be able to comprehend animation basis, 7) Will be able to make educational animations by using an animation program, 8) Will be able to use the scripting language of an animation program, 9) Will be able to develop a course unit with an animation program.

COURSE DEFINITION
Main concepts in graphics design. Communication with graphics creativity in graphics design, fields of
application, computer software used in drawing graphics (such as Photoshop, Fireworks, etc.), development of
computer programs by scripting, principles of animation use in education, development of a courseware by
using an animation program.
