COURSE DEFINITIONTo develop vision, perception and visual expression skills and to consolidate with a creative project in the field of graphic design.
COURSE CONTENTS
WEEKTOPICS
1st Week Introduction, course briefing, discussion of mutual expectations and giving information about practices.
2nd Week What are the visual perception and design principles? What are the theories of visual perception? Giving information, preliminary discussion.
3rd Week The components of the concept of visual perception (such as memory, visual thinking, visual language, symbolic expression, semiotics, analysis, etc.) are discussed.
4th Week Meaning and analysis in the visual perception process, interpretation of visual symbols.
5th Week Analysis, presentation on a chosen design
6th Week Presentation
7th Week Presentation
8th Week Midterm Exam (Research Report)
9th Week poster design sketches
10th Week Discussion, selection of sketches.
11th Week Transferring the work to digital media
12th Week Transferring the work to digital media
13th Week Final critical
14th Week Finalization of studies.
