1) Will be able to define the palliative care, related concepts, principles and services.
2) Will be able to identify the needs of patient and family based on quality of life concept.
3) Will be asses and manage of pain and common symptoms.
4) Will be able to understand of loss, grief and bereavement concepts.
5) Will be able to discuss ethical and legal issues.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course gives information about palliative care team and the roles and the functions of this team; the concept of crisis,death,loss and grief process;comforting the patient who is close to death;sustain the quality of life and support the family and the individual in the terminal stages hospice services and other related organizations.
