LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will be able to explain the state of newborn health in the world and in our country. 2) Will be able to explain the factors affecting newborn health. 3) Will be able to evaluate pain in newborn. 4) Will be able to explain ethical situations in newborns. 5) Will be able to plan high-risk situations and basic principles of care in newborns using critical thinking skills.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course provides the student with knowledge and skills on advanced nursing management of newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit.
