LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will be able to diagnose nursing care needs of the individual, family and the community who have health status according to the functional health patterns. 2) Will be able to decide convenient nursing implementation to the circumstances of the individual, family and the community who have health status according to the functional health patterns. 3) Will be able to care the individual, family and the community who have health status according to the functional health patterns as need according to legal and ethical principles. 4) Will be able to evaluate the outcomes of nursing care of the individual, family and the community who have health status according to the functional health patterns. 5) Will be able to teach/ educate the individual, family and the community who have health status according to the functional health patterns.

COURSE DEFINITION	In this course the alteration in the health condition emerged during the life cycle are handled according to functional health patterns and nursing diagnoses and through professional caring concept, theory and principals, by using problem solving method and nursing interventions. The students gets information and skills about the assessment, diagnosis and giving the care needs of the individual, family and the community experiencing alterations in health.
