LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) gain knowledge about acute and chronic childhood diseases.
2) learn the relationship between disorders and nutrition.
3) learn clinic and biochemical differances between childhood disorders.
4) evaluate the nutritional needs and plan a nutritional program.
5) evaluate medical nutrition therapy for each disorder.
6) make changes about diet therapy when needed.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course covers the essential knowledge and skills for understanding childhood diseases and nutrition. This course aims to help students in making decisions on medical nutrition therapy and reviewing the recent articles in order to improve themselves.
