LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) To be able to analyse the physiological effects of exercise on cardiorespiratory, musculosceletal and endocrin system
2) To be able to analyse the physiological effects of exercise on physical fitness programs and recovery
3) To be able to apply exercise tests, To be able to plan and implement exercise programs

COURSE DEFINITIONThis lecture includes the physiological effects of exercise on the cardiorespiratory, endocrine system, muscles, improving and physical fitness, power consumption in resting and physical activity, definition of physical fitness, cardiorespiratory fitness, power, strength and muscle endurans, planning of exercise programmes for flexibility and agility and forming, interpretation and application of exercise prescription.

1st Week Effect of exercise on cardiovascular system
2nd Week Cardiovascular regulation and integration
3rd Week Effect of exercise on respiratory system
4th Week Effect of exercise on musculosceletal system
5th Week Effect of exercise on endocrin system and fatigue
6th Week 1st intermediate exam power consumption in resting and physical activity
7th Week Recovering after exercise
8th Week Definition of physical fitness and cardiorespiratuar fitness
9th Week Assessment of cardiorespiratuar fitness and forming of exercise prescriptions.
10th Week Assessment of cardiorespiratuar fitness
11th Week Assessment of power, strength and muscle fitness
12th Week Planning of resistant training prgrammes, assessment of flexibility anforming of flexibility programmes
13th Week Forming exercise programmes concerning the power, strength and muscle endurance
14th Week Forming and interpretation of exercise prescriptions
