LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Learn the physiological properties of tissues. Understands the principles of excitability of muscle and nerve tissue.
2) Learn the basic principles of functional electrical stimulation, current parameters and application methods.
3) Learns the appropriate patient selection for functional electrical stimulation and makes the right application.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe aim of the course is to obtain knowledge about the properties, application methods and clinical practice of functional electrical stimulation.
