At the end of this course, the students; 1) will be able to translate texts by using proper dictionaries and sources while using computer. 2) will be able to be able translate texts by using computer-assisted translation programs (CAT Tools). 3) will use their computer skills at advanced level.

COURSE DEFINITION | This course aims at introducing computer-based programs used in translation. Introducing Memory-Aided translation tools in practice within a laboratory setting, enhance students? competence in translation technology and providing students to work on comprehensive translation projects especially by using translation-oriented memory, terminology and project management tools are other goals of this subject. |
