COURSE DEFINITION | Following up on Western Civilization I course, this course aims at surveying the history of western civilization from the period of Reformation to the turn of the 21st century. The main focus of the course will be on the Age of Enlightenment, the American and French Revolutions, the Industrial Revolution, World Wars I and II, with emphasis on their influence on the formation of the modern world. |
