COURSE DEFINITIONThis course aims to enhance students? English vocabulary knowledge through Latin, Greek and Anglo-Saxon affixes and stems and to gain translation-oriented terminology. It is also aimed to boost students? English vocabulary by examining foreign affix and stems used in modern English and dwelling on the word classes, their functions and uses, derivation possibilities.
