LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Analyzes social facts with different sociological approaches.
2) Discuss classical sociological .theories.
3) Interpret different schools of sociology.
4) Analyzes the historical development of sociological thought and their main representatives.
5) Analyze the relationship between the thoughts of the main representatives of sociology and the thoughts of Turkish sociologists.

4th Week German Idealist School (Hegel, Stein, Karl Marx, Riehl)
5th Week Sociological Systems btw 1860- 1900: School of Biology (Lilienfeld, Schaffle)
6th Week Experimental Sociology (Le Play ve his followers)
7th Week Midterm
8th Week The Re-Organization of Sociology in 1900s-I (Durkheim, Pareto, Weber, Tonnies)
9th Week The Re-Organization of Sociology in 1900s-II (Durkheim, Pareto, Weber, Tonnies)
