At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn the concept of cosmeceutics/dermocosmetics and their clasification 2) Acquire knowledge about cosmeceutics/dermocosmetics active substances and products and learn their antiaging effect and hair and hair scalp care. 3) Learn the formulation development contained cosmeceutics active substances and and quality control tests of them. 4) Learn the cosmetic delivery systems included cosmeceutics active substances. 5) Have knowledge about the ability to use the knowledge and skills gained in the advanced stages of education and to use them in professional life. 6) Acquire knowledge about duties, rights and responsibilities; and act ethically and in compliance with regulations as an individual.

COURSE DEFINITION
The course covers; cosmeceutics/dermocosmetics concept and their clasification, formulation development containing cosmeceutical active substances and their quality control tests, the examination of the effectiveness of formulations containing cosmeceutic active substances, with non-invasive testing methods; Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) applications in manufacturing of cosmeceutic products and the legal status of these products.
