At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn the formulation, preparation, and quality control tests of the final products in parenteral dosage forms. 2) Learn the preparation of the small and large volume parenteral solutions. 3) Run to determine and to evaluate of the micromeritic properties of the powders. Learn and apply of the basic pirinciple of packet type preparation. 4) Learn to preparation of various typs of granules. 5) Learn the hard gelatine Capsule formulation and quality control studies. 6) Learns to apply the knowledge and skills gained in practical work in the field of health in the pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, and pharmaceutical industries. 7) Acquire knowledge about the rights and responsibilities, and act ethically and in compliance with regulations as an individual.

ECZ423 covers formulations, preparations and quality control of parenteral dosage forms. The course also covers the fundamental conception of powder technology and practical applications regarding packet type magistral prescriptions.
