At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learns all the information about magistral prescriptions. 2) Knows the magistral dosage forms and preparation methods that can be prepared in the pharmacy. 3) Learns the packaging and label features and storage conditions of major drugs. 4) Learn about the properties of Officinal Medicines and their preparation in the pharmacy. 5) Have knowledge about the ability to use the knowledge and skills gained in the advanced stages of education and to use them in professional life. 6) Acquire knowledge about duties, rights and responsibilities; and act ethically and in compliance with regulations as an individual

COURSE DEFINITION
This course covers the definition of magisteral drugs and their importance in terms of treatment, general rules and basic calculations of the preparation of major drugs, preparation methods of magisteral dosage forms that can be prepared in pharmacies, packaging and storage conditions, properties of Officinal Drugs and their preparation in pharmacy and the conditions of the Health Implementation Communique (SUT) regarding magisteral prescriptions.
