At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explain the basic concepts of tissue and organ biochemistry. 2) It determines the biochemical properties of the components of the epithelium, muscle and adipose tissues. 3) Comprehends the general properties of nervous tissue biochemistry, classifies, and examines samples. 4) Hormone biochemistry: The upper center comprehends the general properties of hormones, classifies them and examines examples. 5) Comprehends the metabolism and general properties and biochemical reactions of thyroid hormones. 6) Equipped with basic information about the metabolism, general characteristics and classification of pancreatic and steroid hormones. 7) Acquires basic information about heme metabolism and properties 8) Gains basic information about the metabolism and properties of vitamins. 9) Acquires basic information about the biochemistry of inorganic molecules and their properties. 10) Integration of metabolism: TCA cycle and glycolysis cycle and its regulation, comprehend and discuss the energy balance.
