At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn the main drug classes that affect the gastrointestinal (GI), respiratory and cardiovascular system (CVS). 2) Understand the mechanisms of action of GI, CVS and respiratory drugs and NSAIDs. 3) Have knowledge about contraindications, side effects, drug interactions and usage of these drugs in special patient groups (pediatric and geriatric patients, elderly, pregnancy, breastfeeding).

The aim of this course is to give information about the pharmacological properties of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), drugs affecting the gastrointestinal, respiratory and cardiovascular system.
