LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Knows basic biostatistics concepts, 2) Applies correlation and regression analysis methods, 3) Can create a sampling frame, 4) Knows the experimental setups, 5) Knows bioavailability and bioequivalence studies, 6) Understands the quality control process.

COURSE DEFINITION	To teach basic statistical concepts, sampling, correlation and regression analysis, experimental setups, quality control methods, bioavailability and bioequivalence concepts.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Basic statistical concepts; definitions, descriptive statistics; classification of data 2nd Week Mean and location measures, prevalence measures. 3rd Week Sampling methods 4th Week Sample size and power calculation 5th Week Randomization, blinding (masking) 6th Week Experimental setups in clinical studies 7th Week Midterm 8th Week Correlation, linear regression and nonlinear regression analysis 9th Week Multi-agent trials (2x2, 2x3, 2x2x2) 10th Week Statistical analysis of bioavailability and bioequivalence studies 11th Week Statistical analysis of bioavailability and bioequivalence studies 12th Week Quality control process 13th Week Quality control process
